Hello there! I hope you are doing okay.
I hope this learning journey has been amazing for you as it has for me.
Today, I will be sharing what I learnt about Brand Growth; The 7 Rules For Brand Growth.
Let's get right into it, shall we?
For your brand to grow, it means you are reaching your goals and one of, if not the most effective way is through your target market/custoners. Here are 7 rules that can guide you in growing your brand through your target market;
1. Continuously reach all buyers of the category. That is; for all the category in your product/business that your buyers/customers fall under, continuously reach out to them and put your brand in their faces. You can;
- target everyone with a certain interest on social media, i.e; Facebook, Instagram.
- target everyone in a certain industry on LinkedIn.
2. Ensure the brand is easy to buy. Make it easy for people to find you and buy from you. You can do this by implementing and investing in SEOs and adding different payment options to your site.
3. Get noticed. Create attention grabbing video ads on Youtube and other social media platforms.
4. Refresh and Rebuild memory structure. Associate your product with a specific buying situation or "category-entry point". This simply means, let your brand be known for something. For example, if you think Noodles, the first thing that comes to mind is the brand "Indomie" or if you think of soda, the first thing that comes to mind would be Coke.
5. Create and use distinctive brand assets. For example, you can use a Salesforce mascot, or associating your company with a jingle(e.g; Airtel's 444 ad).
6. Be consistent. Use the same logo and color for your business. Let your customers be able to identify you at a glance. If I say a bank with the colour purple, most people would think Kuda or Wema bank (depending on the generation *wink*). Let there be a consistency in how your represent yourself to customers/target market.
7. Stay competitive. Offer the same compelling offers that your competitors are offering as well or even more if you can. Example is Coca-Cola and Pepsi.
These are the 7 rules. I'm sure if you learn to apply them well, they would yield positive results.
I hope this post was helpful.
Till the next one.
Franny.
